Gorgeous vintage necklace and bracelet set with large, hand faceted black onyx beads. Both pieces have beads that are graduated in size, with the largest being in the centre. Even the smallest beads in either piece are remarkably large compared to most onyx jewellery. The quality of the gemstone beads is stunning and the whole set is a weighty 145 grams.

The necklace has a length of about 19 inches and the bracelet 8 inches. They both fasten with sterling silver lobster clasps that have tiny 925 stamps on the movable claw. These black faceted onyx beads have a beautiful patina - they are shinier than French jet (glass) with almost a reflective quality bordering on haematite. They are beautiful and such large, chunky and plentiful examples in this set! The pieces are in very good vintage condition.
